Over the past few days, there have been claims that Manchester United turned down a bit from Galatasaray for Fred, who is now unwanted at Old Trafford.

The Brazilian saw his game time reduced as the season went on under Erik ten Hag, and with talks that Fulham could be interested, there was hope a decent transfer could take place.

However, the Craven Cottage side have yet to make the right offer, while Galatasaray have, but the €5m they put on the table simply wasn’t enough, as reported by Aksam.

That being said, it’s added that the Turkish side ‘have no intention of giving up easily’, because they know that their offer was the ‘highest’ Manchester United have received to date for the midfielder.

In fact, Galatasaray have ‘decided to increase’ their bid for the Red Devils man, and the player’s desire to leave Old Trafford is ‘seen as a big advantage’ in their endeavours.

This new pursuit of the Manchester United player means their attempts to get Leandro Paredes from Paris Saint-Germain have ‘been put aside’ for now, and they are fully concentrating on bringing the Brazilian to the Süper Lig.
