Turkish TV channel TRT Spor claims Fenerbahce are in transfer talks with Everton to sign Oumar Niasse.
As covered by Sporx, TRT Spor say the club’s sporting director Damien Comolli has been in talks with Everton officials for the past two months and he’s hoping to sign Niasse permanently.
The Senegalese striker will enter the final year of his contract with Everton this summer and Fenerbahce are reportedly looking to sign him for a cut price fee.
The Turkish giants are in the market for at least two strikers with Roberto Soldado and Islam Slimani leaving the club.
Niasse has been linked with a move back to Turkish Super Lig in previous windows after his successful spell with Akhisarspor during the 2013/14 season.
The 29 year old will return to Everton this summer when his loan period with Cardiff City ends. The player failed to score during his six months with the Welsh club.
