According to Milliyet, Besiktas president Fikret Orman has become frustrated with Leicester City regarding talks over Islam Slimani.
The Turkish side have been linked with a move for the Leicester City forward in recent weeks, as they look to bring in a replacement for Cenk Tosun.
Milliyet claim Besiktas president Fikret Orman has issued an ultimatum to Leicester City over Slimani, and has threatened to walk away from a possible deal.
The Algerian striker is seen as Beskitas’ first choice, but the Turkish champions are prepared to turn to West Ham United’s Diafra Sakho if they can’t get an agreement with Leicester City.
It’s been suggested Orman is trying to get a cheap deal for Slimani by threatening to turn his attention to Sakho. We’re not sure that tactic is going to work.
Sakho has been linked with Besiktas in the past week, but the Turkish side aren’t prepared to pay the €10m West Ham are demanding for the forward.
Subsequently Besiktas have offered to loan Sakho until the end of the season, and they are hoping they can convince West Ham with such a deal.
