Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun has spoken to NTV about the latest developments in his club’s pursuit for West Ham’s Sofiane Feghouli.
The Turkish giants are reportedly in advanced discussions to sign the Algerian international, and Ergun has said they’re hopeful about signing the West Ham attacker.
Ergun was in France yesterday to holds talks to sign Feghouli and confirmed to NTV: “It is not right to say something without there being something definite. It’s true that we are in talks, we hope to reach a happy end, we continue our contacts with Feghouli.”
According to Futbolarena, Galatasaray are in final discussions with West Ham, and the Turkish giants are hoping to convince Feghouli with a salary offer of €3.35m a season. The player has said yes in principle and Galatasaray are hoping to confirm his signing this week.
After signing Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City, Feghouli’s days with West Ham seem to be numbered. Yesterday the West Ham player was also linked with a return to France with Rennes, but a deal with the Ligue 1 side unlikely as they’re only looking for a loan move.
Feghouli joined West Ham from Valencia last summer and scored 4 goals for the Hammers in 27 appearances.
