PSV Eindhoven are interested in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ defender Ki-Jana Hoever and talks about his possible arrival ‘have already started.’

That’s according to Voetbal International, who say the Dutch side are looking at the youngster as a reinforcement for their defence.

Hoever has struggled to impress at Wolves since a €10m move from Liverpool in 2020, making just 10 appearances in all competitions last season.

He has a contract at Molineux until 2025 but found himself the subject of criticism from Wolves boss Bruno Lage over the course of the campaign, and that has opened the door to a departure this summer.

PSV are interested in a deal and taking him back to the Netherlands, viewing him as a ‘possible reinforcement’ for their defence next season.

They believe he could be a reinforcement for both the right-back position and at centre-back, although, at this moment in time, there is no indication if Wolves would be open to a sale.

That remains to be seen, but talks ‘have already started’ about a possible move back to the Eredivisie for the 20-year-old.
