Ranger’s John Lundstram has a deal expiring at the end of this season and Trabzonspor are keen on taking him away from Philippe Clement’s side on a free transfer.
Last month, Philippe Clement stated Rangers are confident of finding a solution for the 30-year-old’s renewal.
That hasn’t happened yet and the Turkish club will step in to sign the Rangers midfielder, according to Sabah and Fotomaç.
Trabzonspor initially made a move for Lundstram but backed out after Philippe Clement’s side moved to renew his contract. The latter two couldn’t reach an agreement and he has ‘decided to leave’ Rangers in the next window.
Therefore, the Turkish club will make a new offer for the Rangers player.
Fotomaç also state Trabzonspor had made an attempt earlier, but weren’t successful after the Ibrox club made a counter offer to retain Lundstram.
The club waited for a while and have now stepped in after the Englishman couldn’t agree a deal with Philippe Clement’s side. Trabzonspor’s technical leaders have given their approval and a new offer will be made to the Rangers man.
It’s claimed Trabzonspor ‘accelerate contacts’ with Lundstram to find an agreement.
