There are claims in the Belgian media Nottingham Forest have signed Anderlecht goalkeeper Liam Bossin. The Irish youngster was surplus to requirements with the Jupiler club, and subsequently will head to the Championship side this summer.

Voetbal Nieuws have reported Bossin has signed a two year deal with Nottingham Forest after falling down the pecking order at Anderlecht.

With Davy Roef and Mile Svilar ahead of him at the Belgian club the 21-year-old has taken the decision to continue his career at Nottingham Forest, after his contract expired with Anderlecht.

Bossin recently had a trial at Nottingham Forest, and it seems like he impressed during his time in England. It’s expected Bossin will start out with Nottingham Forest’s U23 squad before being considered for the first team.

Bossin joined Anderlecht in 2013, and despite coming through their youth system he didn’t make as senior appearance for the Belgian champions. The young keeper has been capped by Republic of Ireland at youth level.
