According to Turkish newspaper Gunes, along with Liverpool, Juventus are monitoring the situation of Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
In recent days the 23 year old has been linked with a move to Liverpool after reports the Premier League side sent a scout to watch him in action last weekend.
This was followed up with a claim in the Turkish media that the Merseyside club are looking to make an offer for the youngster next summer.
However, Gunes say Liverpool aren’t the only club keen on Cakir, with Serie A giants Juventus also said to be interested in signing the player.
It’s reported Juve manager Maurizio Sarri is keen to get the keeper at the end of the season, but they have to beat Liverpool for his signature.
Gunes also claims Juve officials believe they can complete signing of the Turkey international for around €30m, which seems somewhat over the top.
Cakir, who’s now ready to take the No.1 jersey for his national team, has been in great form since his introduction to the first team in the middle of last season.
The Trabzonspor academy graduate is under contract with the Super Lig club until June 2023.
