Aston Villa defender Aly Cissokho has reached an agreement with Yeni Malatyaspor, and his move will be announced soon, according claims in Turkey.
Fanatik say the Turkish club will sign Cissokho on a two year deal, and the player is expected to arrive in Turkey in the coming days to finalise his move.
Cissokho had a loan spell with Olympiacos last season, and recently returned to his parent club Aston Villa following this time in Greece.
However, it seems Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce doesn’t see Cissokho in his long term plans, and it looks likely the Frenchman will sign permanently for Yeni Malatyaspor.
The 29 year old still has one year left on his contract with Aston Villa, but it’s expected the left back will join up with his new teammates in the next one to two days to continue his preseason training at Yeni Malatyaspor.
Cissokho will become the Turkish side’s ninth signing this summer.
