Juan Foyth’s agent has already told the media the defender could leave Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Earlier this month, we covered claims made in South America that Barcelona, Leeds United and clubs in Serie A are looking at the 22-year-old.

It was also explained the centre-back’s entourage are evaluating offers to leave Spurs.

The Argentina international has made only two appearances for his side after José Mourinho arrived at the north London club and both those appearances came in December.

Despite having a contract until 2022, the player has decided to leave the Premier League club. Argentina radio station Radio La Red’s sports journalist Nicolas Bozza took to Twitter to discuss Leeds’ interest in Foyth.

Bozza states the Tottenham player will be a ‘reinforcement’ for the Championship side and the Whites will take him on a loan deal. The defender is set to play under the orders of Marcelo Bielsa next season, according to the claim.

Leeds United are in the driving seat to return to the Premier League, currently on top of the Championship table. If this report is true, a loan move to Elland Road would give Foyth an opportunity to prove his worth in the top division, and shouldn’t harm his international chances.
