Thomas Partey last made an appearance for Arsenal in their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at the start of last month and has been sidelined since then with an injury.
Last Friday, Mikel Arteta suggested the 28-year-old is unlikely to feature again for the Gunners this season.
Despite the midfielder making 23 league starts this season and currently being on the sidelines, there has been a talk of a future away from Arsenal.
AS have a report titled; ‘Thomas, surprise of the summer’. Within the report, there is a mention of Juventus interest in him. The Serie A side are searching for a new midfielder in the market.
It’s explained the Old Lady ‘want to take advantage’ of Partey’s ‘delicate situation’ at the Emirates and ‘make a master move’ for him. That ‘master move’ is by carrying out a swap deal involving him and Arthur, who was wanted by Arsenal in January.
It will not be a ‘gift deal’, but an ‘expensive’ one for the Italian club. They would have to pay a €35m fee requested by the Premier League side. The report states an ‘exchange with Arthur could facilitate this operation’, and ‘above all, make it cheaper’ for Juve.
The option to sign the Ghana international came up after Massimiliano Allegri’s side were made aware Partey has ‘doors open’ to leave the north London club.
Meanwhile, Tutto Juve also have a report on both Partey and the Brazil international. It’s claimed the Arsenal player has been ‘proposed’ to Juventus in the last few hours.
Arteta’s man has been ‘proposed for a potential exchange’ deal with Arthur. Allegri’s side view Partey’s profile is similar to that of their January signing, Denis Zakaria.
Juventus, for their part, would prefer to collect money from Arthur’s sale and invest it to sign Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić in the summer.
