It seems that the race for the Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is expected to get really hot in the next week.
As Italian newspaper Tuttosport has been saying for a while now, Juventus are expected to itensify the chase for the striker once the season is over.
Now as Chelsea are playing their last game in the FA Cup final against Manchester United this Saturday, doors will be more open to a negotiation.
Today, Tuttosport writes that Morata is ready to return to Juventus, and the talks between Roman Abramovich and Andrea Agnelli will ‘heat up’ next week.
Juventus are ready to please Chelsea with a similar deal as they had to sign Juan Cuadrado.
So they will make an offer for a loan paying between €10m and €15m, then an obligatory buying clause of between €40m and €45m.
It’s claimed Atletico Madrid seem to have strongly joined the race, and Alvaro Morata wouldn’t mind making this move to annoy his former club Real Madrid, which sounds quite dramatic. Borussia Dortmund are said to be competing too, but not as seriously as the Colchoneros.
