Earlier today, we covered claims made by Sport1 that Chelsea have included Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski in their summer target list.

The London club’s interest in the striker is backed up in this week’s edition of SportBild.

Erling Haaland is also wanted by the Blues and if the deal to sign the Borussia Dortmund star doesn’t materialise, SportBild say Lewandowski becomes Chelsea’s No.1 target.

Thomas Tuchel’s side ‘want to get serious’ about the Poland international, and his agent, Pini Zahavi, shares close ties with Roman Abramovich. Both live in Tel Aviv, Israel.

The Russian billionaire’s close relationship with Lewandowski’s representative would be key in any potential deal involving the Pole this summer.

Despite the 32-year-old being the main target [if the Haaland deal is not possible] for the Champions League winners, the report states their chances of taking him away from the German champions are ‘negligible’.

Lewandowski’s camp are sending signals that a quick change could be a possibility, but Bayern have no intention to give up their player ‘at any price’.

The Bundesliga winners can be firm on their stance because the frontman has a contract with them until 2023.
