Throughout the many stories surrounding the future of Patrick Dorgu and a potential future transfer to the Premier League, it has been made clear that his ideal club to join would be Chelsea.

His agent has said as much, and the player revealed the news himself in an interview over the recent international break, confirming he was a huge fan of the Blues.

That bodes well for Chelsea, who are now reportedly interested in the 19-year-old, as revealed by Tipsbladet in Denmark.

The news comes as part of an article looking at how much money FC Nordsjaelland could make from a future transfer, as they negotiated a clause entitling them to 15% of a future transfer when selling him to Lecce.

The inclusion of multiple clubs in the race to eventually sign him has filled them with hope of a big windfall, and with Chelsea now interested, they will likely be jumping for joy, seeing as the Premier League have been happily spending vasts sums of money on young talent since the arrival of Todd Boehly.

Tipsbladet point out that Chelsea ‘have been mentioned’ as an interested party, and their own information confirms that the Stamford Bridge side are ‘in the picture’ for Dorgu.

Therefore, if the Blues do want Dorgu, they will find it easy to convince him to join, seeing as they appear to be his first choice for a future transfer.
