Even though Chelsea are still to take a decision on whether to loan Andrey Santos or not, it seems there are already clubs moving for his signing.
That’s the case of Palmeiras, who, according to journalist Jorge Nicola, are very interested in landing the midfielder.
As widely reported in the past few days, Andrey Santos is still to be granted a work permit, and Chelsea may not be able to use him in these first months after his arrival.
This new report claims that in case it’s confirmed the visa won’t be given now, then he’s set to be loaned to a club who are playing the Copa Libertadores.
Due to his respect for his former club Vasco da Gama, then their local rivals Flamengo are ruled out. And that’s why Palmeiras have an advantage.
“Before recording this video, I even talked to one of Andrey’s representatives, who is in Morocco to watch the Club World Cup, he admitted that the first conversations with Palmeiras have already taken place. Everything is still very embryonic. But that will certainly cause huge expectations in the Alviverde fan,” said Jorge Nicola.
