Here’s one more report from Brazil saying that Chelsea winger Willian should be going nowhere this summer.
It’s Globo Esporte who writes about it this time, saying that after arriving in London on Wednesday, the player is close to having his stay at the club guaranteed.
Even though there are big European clubs after the player, both Chelsea and the 29-year-old think it’s better that he continues at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues, who have already (allegedly) rejected two bids from Barcelona, are not willing to sell him. The only possibility is if a very high bid arrives, and that’s why his permanence is not 100% confirmed yet.
Globo Esporte also claims that Willian likes the life he has with his family in London, and will not force his way out. The only reason he had have to leave, which was Antonio Conte, is now gone. The player is said to be ‘optimistic’ about working under Maurizio Sarri.
