When a player like Andreas Christensen becomes available on loan, you can be sure that a number of clubs will be interested, and that’s exactly what’s happened.
Friday has seen two newspapers from two different countries stating clubs in their respective leagues want the Denmark international since he isn’t getting any game time at Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri.
Sport in Spain had a big article on Barcelona’s interest, which you can read here, but over in Italy, Gazzetta dello Sport believe Milan have also already started the process to try and bring in the 22-year-old.
The Italian newspaper explain talks between the two sides have ‘extensively begun’ and the negotiation to bring Christensen to San Siro is ‘ongoing’.
This means that, at 22 years of age, Andreas Christensen, if both these stories are correct, could end up having to choose between Barcelona or Milan as the club to relaunch his career after it stagnated at Chelsea.
Not bad at all, if you ask us.
