You might have seen a number of rumours pushing the story that Chelsea are interested in bringing Kai Havertz to Stamford Bridge.
Following the arrivals of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, Frank Lampard appears set on revamping his side even more with the Bayer Leverkusen forward.
Reports from Germany on Wednesday claimed the Blues were prepared to pay a ‘mega fee’ for the player in the near future adding fuel to the speculation.
Well, SportBild journalist Christian Falk has added his latest update to social media, claiming that Antonio Rüdiger is also trying to play a part in Havertz’s move to Chelsea.
According to him, the Germany international ‘is in contact’ with the Bayer star ‘since a couple of weeks’ and is trying ‘to convince him’ to move to Stamford Bridge.
As he says, ‘agent Rudi’ is on the case, and it seems there’s an excitement even within the playing staff at having yet another attacking reinforcement arriving before the beginning of next season.
