With Chelsea frequently linked to players from Portugal, they’re about to have a great showcase to watch tonight.

According to newspaper Record, the Blues are one of the clubs who’ll have scouts at the cup tie between Benfica and Sporting.

The outlet does not have any information on who Chelsea should be watching, just mentioning that clubs are getting ready for the summer market and sending emissaries to watch their targets.

The Blues have been linked to quite a few players from Benfica and Sporting, so although it’s obvious why they’ll be there, it’s also hard to guess if there’s a specific mission for any of them.

Chelsea were recently said to be interested in Eagles’ stars Antonio Silva and João Neves, although the strongest reports are about their chase for Lions’ striker Viktor Gyokeres.

With this being the second leg of a semifinal with so much rivalry involved, that’ll be a great situation for the Blues to watch all those talents under pressure.

Since all those players are expected to move for no less than €50m, it’s probably safe to say Chelsea will need to choose which of them to go for.
