Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly making moves to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Amine Adli.

French outlet RMC Sport writes that after having targeted the 23-year-old, the Seagulls now made contact with the Bundesliga side for the transfer.

With a few days left for the end of the transfer window, it’s claimed that Brighton ‘rush’ to get Adli signed, as Roberto De Zerbi ‘greatly appreciates’ the player.

Conversations with his agent for more information on the potential move have also been held, and the player is said to be interested in making the switch.

The problem is that Bayer Leverkusen aren’t that interested in a sale, with RMC Sport claiming the Bundesliga side ‘aren’t going to let him go easily’ following the departure of Moussa Diaby.

That’s why ‘nothing is decided’ yet. The German side made €50m when selling their star to Aston Villa, and Brighton would now have to ‘pay the price’ to get Adli out of the club as well.

RMC Sport don’t put a price on the Frenchman, who’s currently valued by Transfermarkt at €20m.
