Brighton and Hove Albion are looking to strengthen in the fullback areas, which has led to several claims around the European media.
Tuesday brings a new name to the Brighton agenda, with L’Equipe claiming there’s serious Seagulls interest in François Moubandjé.
The French newspaper report in their Tuesday edition that, in their search for a left back, Brighton have identified Moubandjé as a target, and are now considering what to do with their interest.
Moubandjé plays for Toulouse and L’Equipe state Brighton have asked the French club about conditions for a transfer, which usually means they’ve asked what the price is.
There’s some hope this one could be going somewhere with L’Equipe believing Brighton ‘could make an offer in the coming days’.Moubandjé is 27 years old, and has a contract with Toulouse until June 2019. He’s primarily a left back, but the left footer can also operate further forward on the left wing and back in central defence.
