Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly very close on signing the Real Betis midfielder Víctor Camarasa, who has also been interesting Tottenham and West Ham.
According to Spanish newspaper ABC today, the clubs are in advanced negotiations for the player to move in the January market.
The Premier League side are expected to pay around €10m for the midfielder, although the final amount is still being discussed by the sides.
The newspaper claims that other clubs such as Tottenham and West Ham United have also made approaches for Camarasa, and even continued to follow him, but the Seagulls are close to winning the race.
It’s said that Brighton want Camarasa to replace Steve Sidwell, who still hasn’t played this season due to a back injury and doesn’t seem to have a return date set.
With ABC not mentioning any issues for Brighton to convince the player to move, it sounds like the final figures are the only thing to be sorted with Betis before the deal is done.
