Brentford are on the verge of signing Henrik Dalsgaard, according to the Belgian media. The 27 year old has been repeatedly linked with Brentford in recent months, with talks going on between the Championship club and Dalsgaard’s current club Zulte Waregem.

With a contract lasting until June 2018, Brentford have to agree a fee with Zulte Waregem for Dalsgaard to end up at Griffin Park, but Het Belang van Limburg don’t make it clear what the price paid will be.

The Belgian newspaper does say it’s now ‘clear’ that Dalsgaard is on his way to English football with Brentford, and they very much make it sound like a sure thing.

Right footed, Dalsgaard is primarily a right back, but can play further forward if required to.

A Denmark international, since making his debut last year, Dalsgaard has seen an upturn since signing for Zulte Waregem in 2016 from Danish club AaB.

He’ll be hoping that continues with Brentford.
