Premier League side Everton are still following Brazilian star Everton Cebolinha, according to claims this week.
Globo Esporte says that along with Borussia Dortmund, the Toffees have been in touch with his entourage eyeing a summer move.
It’s claimed that manager Carlo Ancelotti has ‘reinforced’ his wish to count on the player ‘now’, after already trying to sign him in the January window.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund’s intention is to move quickly and avoid the competition for him. The German side are planning to make big sales and are prepared to get replacements as soon as possible.
Globo Esporte doesn’t say how much Grêmio will demand for Everton this time, but they claim that since the club have already made sales this year, the demands could drop a little.
It’s said that last year, the player had offers from Beijing Guoan and Milan. Other sides such as Napoli and Atletico Madrid have made approaches, but didn’t go further.
With this saga going on for a while now, we wonder if the Toffees will finally make a convincing offer to get their man.
