Tottenham Hotspur reportedly failed with a move for AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori in the winter transfer window.
The player rejected the transfer, even if a fee was agreed between the two clubs and this made sure that a move fell through.
It now seems as if Tottenham are still interested in Tomori and they can attempt a summer move.
SpazioMilan have reported that Milan are eyeing a ‘revolution’ in their backline and this can see Tomori sold in the next few months.
Tottenham are still an interested party and the report believes that their approach in the summer could be different.
The Lilywhites can offer Rodrigo Bentancur as part of a deal and Milan are keeping an eye on the Uruguayan’s situation, as his current contract runs out in the summer of 2026.
Milan are of the belief that the offer will also need to have some cash upfront for Spurs to land Tomori, who can now return to the Premier League.
This all feels like wishful thinking from an AC Milan perspective, and a way to get Bentancur on the cheap. Italian clubs love deals with multiple players being involved but it’s not so popular in the Premier League.
