According to a claim in the Swedish media Sebastian Larsson has turned down other offers to sign for Hull City.

The Swede is currently a free agent after his contract with Sunderland expired this summer.

Fotboll Direkt report Larsson has refused an offer from La Liga side Levante. The Spanish side came in with a concrete offer to sign the former Sunderland attacker, but he declined the proposal in order to remain in England.

The Swedish football outlet say Larsson is now likely to sign for Hull City after spending his entire career playing in England. Hull City were relegated to the Championship last season, but will have ambitions to bounce straight back at the first attempt.

Larsson’s experience should be crucial for Hull City this season, and his signing could be a coup for the club. The 32 year old also knows the Championship from his time with Birmingham City.
