The chances of Everton attacker Kevin Mirallas staying at Olympiacos are now looking very slim, report Greek website Sport24.

The Belgian winger once again put in a below-par performance for the Greek giants in their 1-0 loss to Apollon Smyrna at the weekend, and the Everton loanee was eventually substituted in the 57th minute.

Sport 24 say Olympiacos have some reservations about activating Mirallas’ €6m redemption clause after this latest display, and this follows on from similar claims recently.

It now seems a return to Everton might be on the cards for Mirallas, but he may not be in the plans of Sam Allardyce.

The Belgium international was rarely used by the Everton manager and may need to find a new club in the summer if Olympiacos pull out of a deal to sign him.

It was also reported last week that Mirallas isn’t keen on a return to Everton and wants to remain in Greece.

However, with Olympiacos looking to offload players to raise money it’s not looking very likely at this stage.
