Franck Kessie’s agent would like to send him to England, where Aston Villa are suitors, rather than have him return to Italy with AC Milan.

That’s according to Il Giorno, relayed by Libero Quotidiano, who say the player’s deteriorated relationship with AC Milan could aid Aston Villa’s attempts to sign him.

They report that the midfielder is ‘already tired’ of the few minutes he is getting at Barcelona following his move in the summer.

He would like to return to Milan and has asked his agent George Atangana to ‘sound the ground’ with Paolo Maldini and Ricki Massara about a return to Milan.

The problem is that relations between the agent and the Rossoneri management are not idyllic, something the player is aware of given how he left Milan.

Thus, his agent ‘would like’ to send him to England instead, where Aston Villa are among several options for him. Fulham and Watford are also named, although Villa look the most attractive.

They’re looking likely to spend in January to back Unai Emery in his first transfer window and Kessie would represent a big capture for the Spanish coach.

His agent certainly wants to make the move happen, even if the player’s wishes are to return to Milan if he can leave Barcelona in January.
