Arsenal are one of the clubs keeping an eye on UD Las Palmas’ Alberto Moleiro.
That’s according to Super Deporte, who state ‘Arsenal stand out’ in the race to sign the 21-year-old.
It’s stated the winger ‘can go to’ Arsenal, who are keen on signing him. He finds their project ‘more than interesting’ and can make a big leap with a move to the Emirates.
Moleiro has scored four goals from 13 games this season and has a contract lasting until 2026. Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez Alonso is considering selling him next year if he doesn’t sign an extension.
Transfermarkt values him at €20m and the report states the La Liga side, who haven’t set a price tag, are ready to study offers for figures close to his market value.
Mikel Arteta also appreciates the Spain U21 international’s profile. The manager believes the attacker’s profile and asking price meets the Gunners’ requirement, to make him a ‘successful signing’.
For now, Arsenal ‘stand out’ in the chase for Moleiro, and he seems open to making a switch to the north London club. It’s not mentioned whether the Premier League side are ready to make an offer to sign the player.
