With pretty much every aspect of Arsenal’s team thrown into uncertainty this summer, from Arsène Wenger to Mesut Özil, changes should be aplenty at the Emirates.
The German playmaker is yet to make a decision on his future, and, having a strong affinity towards the French manager, could be off in the upcoming transfer window if Wenger decides to call it a day in London.
Always looking to the future, it appears the Gunners are looking at a potential replacement for Özil in Amine Harit, Nantes’ very promising attacking midfielder.
According to Foot Mercato in France, the Premier League sent a scout to watch the 19-year-old play at the weekend against Lorient, which Nantes won 1-0.
The Arsenal representative will have had to wait until the 57th minute to see the man he came for, when the youngster came on to replace Adrien Thomasson.
This isn’t the first time a Premier League side have been linked with the 19-year-old, as Liverpool were said to be very interested in him back in December.
Harit has made 28 appearances for the Ligue 1 side this season, scoring just the one goal as Sergio Conceicao tries to manage his growth correctly.
