According to claims from Portugal today, Arsenal continue to follow Serbian winger Andria Zivkovic. The Gunners had already been said to be scouting the player during the domestic season, and now it’s time to watch him on international level.
Record claims that over 130 scouts have travelled to work at the Euro U21 championship in Poland, and the Arsenal emissaries have a special mission there.
It’s said that back in the last summer, when Zivkovic accepted the offer to join Benfica, Arsene Wenger already tried to sign him, but failed.
The interest didn’t disappear, and with Wenger continuing at Arsenal, he will also continue to evaluate the 20-year-old. Club scouts were already sent to Lisbon ‘many times’ during the season.
The newspaper says there have been no approaches so far, and Arsenal will only move when they are certain the winger should be signed. He has a €60m release clause.
