As Arthur’s potential departure from Juventus remains being a constant topic in the Italian rumour mill, Arsenal continue to be named as the main contenders for the signing.
On Tuesday morning, we’d already seen newspaper Corriere Dello Sport claiming the Gunners could be back for the target they already aimed in January.
With the player interested in moving to London, it was said Arsenal ‘is in his desires’, so he and Juve would now wait for a bid from Mikel Arteta’s side.
So as website Calciomercato now writes about Arthur, it’s now time for them to say the Brazilian could be soon on his way to the Gunners.
The website says the midfielder wants to ‘go away’ and Juve ‘no longer want to hold him’, so it’s a matter of waiting for a convincing offer to arrive in Turin.
Calciomercato says that while the player is worth nearly €50m, the Serie A giants evaluate potential swaps to sort his departure soon, and with Arsenal claimed to be the only ‘real buyers’ for him, the Old Lady already analyse the possibility of landing some names such as Gabriel Magalhães, Thomas Partey and rather surprisingly Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners already struggled to sign Arthur in January, and now it seems Juventus will continue playing hard in those talks, asking for players Arteta might not want to part ways with.
