Arsenal are the latest Premier League side to show an interest in Juventus forward Simone Zaza, according to claims in Italy. The Italy international may need to leave the Serie A side this summer due to lack of playing time, and has already been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham.
TMW have reported in the last hour that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could look to move in on Zaza because a deal to bring Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette to the Emirates is unlikely to happen.
In the past 24 hours the leaders of Lyon have stated the France international won’t be sold in this transfer window, and subsequently Zaza could be seen as an alternative.
However, Arsenal will face competition to sign Zaza following recent comments from the player’s father that West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are showing a keen interest in his son.
The two Premier League sides are aware of Zaza’s situation at Juventus with the arrival of Gonzalo Higuaín this summer, and it looks like the Italian will again struggle to get games this season.
It’s getting to the stage now that near enough half the Premier League have been linked with Zaza, without anyone really pushing too hard.
