Other than Olivier Giroud, Chelsea have to deal with a couple of other contractual situations ending at the end of the current season.

Both Pedro and Willian’s deals are set to expire, and the Brazilian’s appears to be taking centre stage more often these days, especially since it was reported he rejected the Blues’ latest attempt at renewing him.

That has led a number of rumours of interested clubs to appear, with the latest including both Arsenal and Manchester United.

The player has made it clear he wants a three year deal, but Chelsea have only offered two, which the winger emphasised once again to Brazilian TV after the 4-0 drubbing over Everton at the weekend.

While he also clarified that he hasn’t spoken to any other clubs so far, this latest outing won’t have helped the Stamford Bridge side’s situation in the slightest, leaving the door open to interested parties to sniff around.

According to Le10 Sport, three are hovering more so than others, and those are Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester United.

They explain the idea of signing an out of contract player appeals to the French side, especially for FFP reasons, which Leonardo, their director of football, is very wary of.

It’s said the Gunners, the Red Devils and the Ligue 1 champions are ‘clearly the three main clubs’ after Willian, and while the player hasn’t taken a decision, there’s a belief that, ‘barring a huge U-turn’, he will leave Chelsea in June.

With Edinson Cavani, Eric Choupo-Moting and Julian Draxler all expected to exit the Parc des Princes this summer, some extra bodies will be needed, which is where the Brazilian comes in.

As for the two Premier League sides, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer once again alluded to extra experience being needed at Old Trafford to help the club compete for titles, while Mikel Arteta will probably be worried about the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang situation, regardless of what both manager and player say in public.

Until that deal is signed, speculation will continue, and with Willian a free agent in the summer as things stand, Le10 Sport explain the prospect of ‘one final big contract’ somewhere other than Stamford Bridge could be alluring.
