Towards the end of March, Het Belang van Limburg named Arsenal and Manchester United as suitors for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.
Apart from the two Premier League sides, Juventus and a few other clubs have been credited with interest in the midfielder.
With Arsenal and a few other clubs mentioned, Tuttosport reported on April 11th that the 25-year-old is highly unlikely to continue at Leicester City next season.
It’s claimed that Arsenal are ‘crazy about Tielemans’, who has just over a year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
As it stands, Leicester City have not received a ‘concrete offer yet’. In addition to this, the north London club have also not made a ‘concrete proposal’ to the player.
With Arsenal ‘crazy’ about Brendan Rodgers’ man, HLN add Mikel Arteta’s side ‘thrive on the positive conversations’ with Tielemans’ entourage.
The report further adds the Foxes hope to collect €35-40m from Tielemans’ sale. Leicester will be encouraged to sell the former Anderlecht man in the summer if he decides not to sign a new deal in the coming weeks.
