Friday’s edition of L’Equipe linked West Ham and Southampton with serious interest in Martin Braithwaite. Both clubs are said to have already ‘expressed their interest’ in the 25 year old Danish forward, and he’s one of a long line of Ligue 1 players to be linked with the Hammers.
West Ham aren’t only linked repeatedly with France based players, they actually buy a few, and do a lot of work with agents in the country, sourcing out available deals for the club.
Slaven Bilic will have another agent advantage if he looks to complete a deal for Braithwaite. The Toulouse player is represented by Boutique Transfers and Management, and their main client just so happens to be Winston Reid.
The New Zealand international defender has been with West Ham since 2008, meaning his agents will have a long relationship with the club and a direct point of contact. That can only assist West Ham in any competition to sign Braithwaite.
