Italian newspaper Tuttosport brings today a story about Juventus’ chase for the Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt.

The Old Lady are planning to land the 19-year-old in the next summer window, but given the big competition and the huge price that the Dutch side should demand, they’re already looking for other options.

That’s where Tuttosport lists a list of alternatives the club have, which includes the now well known Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

The Serbian international has been much mentioned in the rumour mill lately, and according to the newspaper, the competition for him would include the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Tuttosport claims that Juventus and Bayern Munich are tied in the lead for the player, with a 35% chance of getting him in the summer. Then come Manchester United with 25%, and the other 5% goes to any other club who would join the race.

The newspaper doesn’t say how much would Fiorentina demand for Milenkovic, and just claims La Viola know it will be ‘hard to keep him’ next summer.

Earlier this month it was claimed in Italy that Manchester United had made a €60m offer for the player already.
