West Ham are by some distance the English club which has been linked most with Yerry Mina.
The wilder outreaches of the Spanish sport media have pushed the West ham route more than once for the defender, and it’s only really the Hammers claims which has stuck.
It’s been stated a move to West Ham is something the Barcelona player would consider, even if his club have at times been reported as preferring a La Liga loan should Mina leave.
Marca have a look at the situation on Thursday and give a case for Mina both staying and going. It’s claimed there’s rumours around the Catalan club of interest from the Premier League, and if a ‘great offer’ comes from England then serious consideration will be given to it.
That makes it sound like a potential permanent transfer rather than a loan, and West Ham would surely be looking at €20m+.
Whilst the rumours are built on shaky ground, it would be no surprise if West Ham’s owners were tempted by the prospect of what they’d see as a glamour signing.
