According to Fotomac, Bursaspor are showing an interest in FC Girona’s Olarenwaju Kayode, who’s currently on loan with the Catalan club from Manchester City.
Fotomac claim Bursaspor boss Paul Le Guen is keen to work with the Nigerian, and the Manchester City forward could be an option for the Turkish club in this transfer window
Bursaspor yesterday signed former Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow, but the club are still in need of more firepower in attack. Fotomac say Bursaspor have officially contacted Manchester City about loaning the player, and the Premier League side are reportedly open to sending him to Turkey.
The 24 year old has started two La Liga games so this season, and has yet to score for Girona. Yesterday he wasn’t involved in Girona’s match day squad for their clash with Las Palamas, but there’s a good reason for that.
As we covered last week, it’s been reported in Spain that the Manchester City owned player is having ‘bureaucratic problems’ and can’t get into the country after visiting Nigeria at Christmas.
At the time Marca said a move to Bursapor could be on, and it seems that’s a route Manchester City are still going down.
