Sabah claim Tottenham Hotspur owed forward Vincent Janssen will be staying with the Turkish giants club until the end of the season, but the Dutchman wants a move back to England once his loan spell ends.

According to newspaper, after impressing Aykut Kocaman with his performances, Janssen doesn’t want to stay in Turkey as he wants to prove himself in the Premier League next season.

Sabah say despite scoring two goals this season, Fenerbahce manager Kocaman is pleased with Janssen’s contribution and wants to work with him beyond this season.

Janssen has been getting regular games for the Turkish side since his arrival in September, something he wasn’t with Tottenham last season.

NtvSpor Fenerbahce journalist Onur Tugrul has also confirmed Janssen will be staying  with Fenerbahce’s until the end of the season: “No, Janssen is not leaving. The board members spoke with the player about the situation. It’s not going to happen.”

There has been reports Janssen could be lined up for a move to Serie A side Napoli in January, but this can’t happen as he’s already played for Tottenham and Fenerbahce this season.

It will be difficult for the 23-year old to break into the Tottenham team, given Harry Kane’s form and the signing of Fernando Llorente last summer.
