Turkish website NtvSpor have reported Everton are close to signing Cenk Tosun from Besiktas, and player is keen to join the Toffees over Crystal Palace.
Tosun was linked with a move to Crystal Palace in the last window, after the Eagles tabled a bid for the Turkey international.
According to NtvSpor, Everton are to seal a deal for Tosun for a transfer fee in the region of €20m, and Besiktas president Fikret Orman has spoken to the forward about the Premier League side’s offer.
NtvSpor reiterates Tosun has no intention of joining Crystal Palace because he would prefer a move to Goodison Park. In recent weeks Crystal Palace have again been linked with the Beskitas star after having their bid rejected for the player last summer.
It’s also been reported Everton have offered Tosun €4m a season on a 4.5 year contract, and now the Merseyside club are waiting on Beskitas’ decision.
Tosun has played 23 games for Besiktas this season, scoring 13 goals.
