Player’s agent confirms medical tests at West Brom taking place today

Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak is very close to a move to West Bromwich Albion, as local newspaper Przeglad Sportowy reports.

The newspaper is well known for having close ties with Krychowiak, and they claim to have been in touch with his representative.

According to them, one of the best Polish players is ‘only one step away‘ from playing in the Premier League, for West Brom.

They add Krychowiak is undergoing a medical on Wednesday with West Brom: ‘The player’s agent confirmed to us that Krychowiak is undergoing medical tests.‘

However, Przeglad Sportowy also say transfer negotiations with his current club Paris Saint-Germain are still ongoing. This doesn’t sound to be too big a hurdle, with the clubs likely sorting out the finer details of a loan.

After Krychowiak Tweeted “Back in the game”, the newspaper believes ‘it’s a clear signal the transfer is almost completed’.

There’s some Polish excitement on this one and it’s assumed the West Brom transfer is almost done.
