Malmo manager Magnus Pehrsson has told the Swedish media a move to Leeds United is tempting for his forward Pawel Cibicki.

The 23 year old lookd close to move to Leeds United, following talks with the Championship side.

Speaking to Fotbollskanalen, Pehrsson was asked about Cibicki’s proposed transfer to Leeds United: “I understand getting a chance to go to a big football nation and play, it’s tempting and there’s also the money.”

Earlier today Malmo sporting director Daniel Andersson confirmed Cibicki missed training this morning because the player is in talks with another club. Andersson didn’t go as far to say which club, but the Swedish media say it’s very likely to be Leeds United.

Both Cibicki and Andersson confirmed yesterday talks are ongoing with Leeds United, and today it was claimed in Sweden the player will soon be signing for the English club.

The Sweden U21 international has welcomed the move to Leeds United, and a deal looks close to being sealed. At the weekend the transfer was hyped up in Sweden, with it being claimed Cibicki has an outline agreement to make the move.

It’s reported the young forward has been offered a four year contact by Leeds United.
