Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf are reliable on Eredivisie transfers, and them reporting Mateusz Klich is closing in on a Leeds United move means he actually is.
Klich has been repeatedly linked to Leeds United in recent months, but things have got increasingly serious over the past few days, with the transfer now getting to the stage that it looks likely.
De Telegraaf have a print and online look at the situation and report that FC Twente are planning for the sale of Klich to Leeds United, and are currently in talks with the Championship club to find a deal.
Klich himself, a 27 year old Polish midfielder, is said to be ‘not averse’ to moving to English football, which is a boost for Leeds United’s chances of signing him.
