In the summer, Rangers signed Hamza Igamane from Morrocan side AS FAR and gave him a contract until 2029.
The striker has enjoyed a good first season at Ibrox so far, managing 13 goals and three assists from 35 games. His form for Rangers has seen him attract interest from other clubs.
Sevilla are one of the interested parties and earlier this month, Africa Foot reported they have sent a scout to regularly follow the 22-year-old in action for Rangers.
Vamos Mi Sevilla FC now state the Andalusian club’s sporting director, Víctor Orta, has the Moroccan on his list of striker targets.
Morocco manager Walid Regragui has included the Rangers player in his squad for the upcoming matches. His valuation could rise if he were to make his debut and impress for the national team.
The report states the Spanish club are preparing to make an initial offer of €10m in the next window. This proposal ‘could fall short’ if Igamane were to shine for Morocco and Rangers from now until the end of this season.
The outlet makes no mention of the fee needed to convince the Scottish club to sanction a move.
Apart from the price, Sevilla have to deal with competition from Marseille and Everton to sign Igamane.
