Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford has become a prime target for AC Milan in the past few days.

The Italian side have already held talks with the entourage of the Englishman and there’s been repeat reports the Rossoneri are confident about the move, even if the 27-year-old will take some days to make his final decision.

As Milan circle around Rashford, a shocking claim has emerged from Italy about Arsenal interest in the player.

Journalist Massimo Marianella spoke to Sky Italia during their Calciomercato – L’origine live show from Siena, and he spoke about the Gunners… making a big claim about Arsenal.

He said, as relayed by SpazioJ: “It seems that Arsenal have made a phone call to Manchester United for Rashford. The club has valued him at 25m.”

The report goes on to state that it seems as if Arsenal’s interest in the Red Devils man is concrete and they have joined the chase in the past few hours.

Football has seen stranger things happen but it would be unlikely for Rashford to move to a direct rival considering that there is interest from other clubs.

On top of that, the price-tag of €25m would be on the low side for a player whose current deal at Old Trafford runs out in the summer of 2028, although it could be related to his high Manchester United wages.
