Hamed Traore struggled to make an impact at Bournemouth across the 2022/23 and 2023/24 season.

The attacking midfielder joined the Cherries permanently after an initial loan deal in the 2022/23 campaign but after not making a mark, a loan to Napoli followed in the 2023/24 season. As that stint also proved to be a failure amidst the Italian side’s turbulence, he was then loaned out to Auxerre in France.

Il Napolista have looked at his time at Auxerre, stating that the player is ‘finally blossoming’.

He has six goals in Ligue 1 and one assist, also scoring a vital goal against Angers at the weekend.

The outlet make it clear that Traore will return to Bournemouth at the end of the season but his performances are impressing the Cherries.

They are watching the 24-year-old with interest and it is still very possible that he has a future in the Premier League.

The entire situation is also presented as a regret for Napoli, who could never really make full use of Traore during his time in Naples.
