Joshua Zirkzee arrived at Manchester United from Bologna in the summer and came off the bench to score the winner against Fulham on his debut in August.

Since then, the striker hasn’t scored for the Red Devils but has registered an assist each in the Premier League and Europa League.

Rasmus Højlund has been leading Manchester United’s attack this season, forcing Zirkzee to a substitute role.

La Stampa, relayed Calciomercato.it, state the 23-year-old isn’t pleased with his situation at Manchester United and has asked his agents to find a new club. The report focuses on Juventus as he would have apparently chosen to join then.

Striker Dušan Vlahović suffered an injury during the international break while his backup Arkadiusz Milik is still on the sidelines. The Old Lady could look to bring in a new striker and the focus could be on Zirkzee, who knows their manager, Thiago Motta, from Bologna.

The Manchester United player would be happy to reunite with his former manager at the Turin club, who could only consider signing him on a loan deal in the next window.

There could be developments in the coming weeks if Zirkzee were to push for a transfer in January.
