Everton are following AC Milan’s Samu Chukwueze with interest and could provide competition to Besiktas for his signature.
That’s according to Fotomaç, who report that the Turkish team have turned their attention to the forward as he looks to leave Milan.
They report that Chukwueze is unhappy with a lack of playing time at the Italian side and wants to leave, something that has seen Besiktas prick up their ears.
The 25-year-old is very much on their radar and they are now preparing to make an offer for him in the January transfer window.
Milan are open to loaning him out until the end of the season and will evaluate any offers that they receive.
Chukwueze simply wants to move somewhere where he can play and Besiktas can offer that, as can Everton, who are also following him.
The big issue for the Toffees is that Chukwueze regularly speaks with Nigeria teammate Victor Osimhen, who has seemingly been talking up Turkey after making the move there himself. His quick success and the ‘great interest’ he’s been getting could lead the AC Milan man to try it too.
If Everton want a loan deal they would also have to make space in their squad, with Orel Mangala and Jesper Lindstrom currently occupying their two international loan spots.
They’ve been credited with an interest in Chukwueze in the past and it doesn’t seem to have died down, with Besiktas at least seeing them as competition.
