There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are still showing interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Jefferson Lerma.
The Colombian international was linked with a move to the Istanbul side during the last window, but instead Jose Mourinho brought in Sofyan Amrabat on loan from Fiorentina.
Sabah today report on Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the Crystal Palace player, and they say Lerma is on their ‘agenda’ ahead of the next transfer window.
Despite bringing in Amrabat during the summer Mourinho is still keen to add to his midfield, and with Lerma also being able to play in central defence the Portuguese coach will target him in the new year.
There have been recent reports in the Turkish press that the Eagles held transfer talks with the 29-year-old during the last window.
The Colombian has started three of Palace’s opening seven Premier League games and is contracted to the club until June 2026, with the option of another year.
